One of Utah’s most successful injury and commercial litigation attorneys, Mr. Olsen’s practice concentrates on representing plaintiffs in insurance bad faith and complex tort litigation, where he has obtained numerous multi-million-dollar judgments, including those running into eight figures. Mr. Olsen has been the lead attorney in many high-profile appellate decisions that define, confirm and set precedents in Utah law, including the definition of proximate cause, the enforceability of compulsory arbitration provisions, the constitutionality of governmental immunity and the enforcement of settlement agreements. His experience also includes contract, real estate, and Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) litigation, including a recent multimillion-dollar verdict in a condemnation case.
During every year of the last decade, Mr. Olsen has consistently made every peer-reviewed list of top lawyers in the state and region as well as the nation, as rated on stringent and rigorous professional standards. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
