DKOW Shareholders Michael Worel, Alan Mortensen and Lance Milne obtained a $16,000,000 judgment on behalf of their client Elissa Wall against the FLDS Church and its leader Warren Jeffs related to Ms. Wall being forced into a marriage at the age of 14. The judgment was issued on September 5, 2017 by the Utah Third District Court and includes $4,000,000 for damages caused to Ms. Wall and $12,000,000 in punitive damages to deter the FLDS Church and Warren Jeffs from such conduct in the future.
