Four people were killed in a small plane crash at the Wendover, Utah, airport on June 1. The Cessna 172 T, a single engine, four seat plane, crashed at the Wendover Airport at 2:35 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, 2011. The plane was en route from St. George to Provo. The four passengers were in a small Cessna that was attempting to land for a fuel stop, said Wendover Airport director Jim Petersen. Witnesses said the plane attempted to land but eventually crashed. The FAA and NTSB are investigating.
